The Enterprise version of Windows 8 is expected to be equipped with a useful new feature, the Portable Workspace Creator: The wizard installs Windows 8 on a USB stick or an external USB hard drive (Figure 1).
Unlike a stripped-live system such as Windows PE portable Windows 8 has the full functionality of Windows 8 The live system boot any PC - regardless of which operating system is installed on the computer.

- The ISO image of the pre-release version of Windows 8
- A packer
- The ImageX tool from the Windows AIK
- A virtual PC
- A USB flash drive with 16 GB
- A tool that makes the stick bootable
Preparing for Windows 8 installation
First, obtain the software: you download from the Internet, download the ISO image of the setup DVD of Windows 8 and Windows AIK.
